Certificate in Couple Counselling

Certificate in Couple Counselling

October 2013

Working with relationship issues is not simply an extension of counselling skills relevant to personal issues. Having a couple in the room is about working with the relationship, not just the two individuals and it is important that the therapist has the requisite skills to do so.

Eligibility

The Certificate in Couple counselling course is available to clinicians with a qualification/accreditation in counselling/psychotherapy/psychology/family therapy.

Supervised Practice

Course participants are required to do 50 hours supervised practice with clients with relationship issues. Ten hours of supervision is required which must be provided by a Relationships Ireland approved supervisor.

Our Certificate in Couple Counselling is offered over six Saturdays commencing in October 2013.
